My daughter (8 yo) wouldn't wait for help in setting up her ipad and made up an apple ID password... obviously she has no idea what they are and I can't get around it... What can I do???

As the iPad is new, you’ll have the original invoice - presumably with the serial number of the iPad. Provided that you have this essential document, this being proof of original ownership, you need to directly contact Apple Support for help.

and whats why kids shouldn't be left alone with iPads....
Not sure what to do, you may have to go back to Apple and ask them to remove it, as without the original ID and Password there isn't much you can do yourself
The ID will be the email address she used
I know that, but she's an 8-year old who doesn't have an email and just typed in something random.
