Hello Ilovemoose,

Thank you for choosing Apple Support Communities.

If we understand correctly, you are a wanting your AirPods Pro to automatically connect to your MacBook Air.

Have you seen the article Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices? Your MacBook Air should be able to automatically connect.

After looking over that article, if you still have questions, just let us know.

Cheers!

Yes, I am also having the same problem of Ilovemoose.

I already tried all of the suggestions in the page of "Set up AirPods with your Mac and other Bluetooth devices". But I can't connect my airpod pro with my mac although it shows my airpod in bluetooth device list. Whenever I click "connect", it says "connection problem"

The airpod works well with my iPhone which is signed in with the same apple ID of Macbook.

Best,

Kyaw Nyein
