I have updated my fitness app and Apple Watch, have the app free trial. Can view on my iPhone the preview of the workout streaming to Apple TV but will not stream to Apple TV the actual workout. Does not give me that option.

That is a 3rd generation. It is not listed as a supported device for this service.

Likely not even through AirPlay.

Thanks I guess I can’t use Fitness + without upgrading my Apple TV. ($200). Do you think Apple will ever use Chromecast to stream Fitness +. Thanks for your quick response.

I don’t know what Apple is planning for the future, but nobody expects Chromecast support to come to any Apple apps.
