Migration Assistant - Unable to retrieve

When I try to restore the 2020 16" Macbook Pro, In Migration Assistant, I am getting an error message of "Authentication Failed - Unable to retrieve credentials for authorizing user." Is there a way around this?

Just used the response in a similar thread...


Prior to an SMC reset, I turned off the power, then pressed the power button for 10 seconds. When I restarted the MBP (2019), I was able to do a migration without getting the "Authentication Failure" message.
