First words of Maps directions cut off

Since the update, any time I use Maps for directions, the first several words Siri says with each direction is cut off. I only hear the last part of the sentence she says.

Guide voice not working in Maps My wife and I each have an iPhone 6 and when we travel and use Apple Maps the guide voice works on hers but not on mine. I guess it must be some difference somewhere in the maze of settings, but I can't figure out what. Any suggestions of what to check out?

We understand that you're experiencing some problems when using Apple Maps for turn-by-turn directions, and we're happy to help. To clarify, are you using your iPhone with CarPlay when this happens? If so, is the iPhone connected via Bluetooth or USB? Normally, we would expect Maps to work as described in the user guide below.
