Copy paste across devices

I used to be able to copy on iPad and paste into iPhone, and vice versa, then one day it stopped working. Got tips?

How about Force ReStarting your iPhone and your iPad as shown below and then ensuring that both devices are connected to iCloud (Apple ID)?
