After watch OS update to 6.3 Minnie Mouse no longer speaks time

Prior to doing this most recent update Minnie or Mickie would speak the time when face of clock was tapped- now it does not. The watch app on my iPhone under clock is checked to speak but Minnie is silent. Is there a bug in the update?
