iTunes actual size, windowed and fit to screen are not working properly

When I play any kind of video, music, movie or TV show the full screen works fine, but this is not my best choice as I like to work while watching. But every other way of watching runs into some kind of problem. Every other way of playing cuts off the video because it is not centered in the video window.

I would post a screenshot but iTunes is protecting copyright all the time so here is a picture taken from my iPhone.

No matter how I resize this window it will always cut it off. If I use increase size or decrease it doesn't change anything. If I do actual size I get a small window that shows nothing.

How do I fix this?

Windows, Windows 10

Hello, DawnTreader777.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post, it's understood after resizing the window, the video is not centered and gets cut off. We'd like to help. Does this occur with one video or all videos?

If you Option + Click, do you have fit to screen? If choosing that, does it work as expected?

See if this happens in a another user account: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Do you have other video players?

Keep us updated.

Cheers!

Hello, DawnTreader777.

We apologize for the misinformation on what device you're using. To clarify some things, you should still be able to right click on the video while playing and get additional options. These options are as follows:

Play Video Fullscreen

Actual Size

Fit to Screen

Increase Size

Decrease Size

Does selecting any of these options, correct the video positioning?

Also, while the steps for a new user account is macOS specific, this step is to help determine if other software may be conflicting with the player. Make sure you're using the latest version of iTunes: Update to the latest version of iTunes Latest iTunes version is 12.11

You may also want to make sure Windows is updated as well.

Best regards.

First, it occurs on all videos. I don't have an option + click as I am not on a Mac.

No matter how I type this, it is going to come off as hostile, but honestly maybe before canning an answer you could read and understand what the user has said:

Again, I am not on a Mac. Why would it matter if it is on another user anyways? I am the only one who uses the computer. Even if it worked on another user the way it was supposed to, I need it fixed on the user that I use every day. In order to check this on another user I will have to logout so I will have to finish the post and come back to this.

Lastly, I have lots of other video players...

BUT THIS IS PURCHASED CONTENT THAT I CAN ONLY WATCH IN ITUNES! The crappiest media manager in all of existence! If it wasn't for the fact that most of my media is purchased through iTunes I would have ditched this crap a long time ago.

Yeah, so... Still broken. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my video drivers. I even have a second video card in my computer now and a 4th/2nd monitor. I tried playing the video back on there, same result. I am starting to wonder if it has to do with my Nvidia surround view setup. I am going to try playing it back on a different computer and see the result.
