What be nice to be able to use renice to change priority of runaway processes like the build in notorious bird process.
Anyway this will do for now - enter in a terminal but expect some odd behaviour from finder now and then:

That answer should display whenever anyone types the word 'bird' in the samme sentence as 'macos' or 'mac' or 'osx'.
It does indeed quit down bird and seems to not have the effect of making finder unstable
Having said all that Apple should really, really throw some hours after iCloud synchronisation as in please, please.

The only other process running at nice 20 is netbiosd.
renice bird
