Icloud Not Showing Images' thumbnails

I have a 2019 imac. I have uploaded thousands of images to icloud recently but in thumbnail mode, almost all of them are just generic icons. How can I view my images' thumbnails? For my purposes, I need to see what images they are at a glance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi David,

We know that photos contain a lot of valuable memories, and understand the importance in being able to quickly sort through them. So we're on the same page with you, are you attempting to view the images on the iCloud website or within the Photos app? When you open Photos, is there any indication that the images are still in the process of uploading to iCloud? The resource below contains some additional information that may be helpful as well.

Hi David,

You're very welcome! These additional details are helpful as well. When you have a chance, we'd like to have you try opening Safari on your Mac, and then head to the iCloud website

Once there, you'll want to sign in using your Apple ID, and then click on Photos. When iCloud Photos is enabled on the Mac, you should see the same images in the standalone Photos app as you do when clicking on Photos from the iCloud website. This will help us confirm that all of the images being synced from the Mac are indeed now stored in iCloud.

Thanks!

We understand now, these are Adobe Photoshop images that are being stored in iCloud Drive, and not images that you've uploaded to iCloud Photos through the Photos app on your Mac. Depending on the file type, this may be expected behavior. To know for sure, we encourage you to contact Adobe and work directly with their app developers. Here's how to find their information:

Thank you for the reply. I am attempting to access them through my desktop computer as, that is where I do my collage work and I don't want to have to download everything through the phone if at all possible. Big time waster.

Regarding the Photos app: Everything is uploaded. These were not uploaded through the phone, they were uploaded from my desktop. However if I am suppose to be able to see the stored files through the Photos app, I do not see where to do it.

Correction to my last, premature elation: Going where you directed shows me the images that are currently in my photos folder on my phone but not show any of the uploaded files. To access my stored files, I go Documents>Adobe>Photoshop Cloud Associates>to my created folders Photo Backup or Photo Backup 2. There, I can see the icons of only a few saved images among thousands. I can click on them and view them, but almost every thumbnail is just a generic icon so they are all a mystery. A handful can be seen which is odd as I do not believe there is any difference in those files. Anyhow, I just checked my back up drive and I can see them all there so I am good if this can not be resolved. As long as they are saved, I am fine. Thanks for the help.
