Youtube scrolling featured videos issue

When I scroll youtube homepage (featured videos) and reach the end of preloaded thumbnails, a new portion of thumbnails loads, but the page jumps up to its top instead of staying at the place to which I scrolled it.

When I not logged in from Safari or when I use Chrome, youtube scrolls featured videos smoothly.

Clearing history and cache does not help.

Hi shilov87,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're running into some issues with scrolling on YouTube in Safari on your Mac. We'd like to see how we can help!

Knowing that the issue doesn't happen in Chrome is helpful. Which macOS version are you using under Apple menu () > About This Mac?

To narrow the issue down, try creating a temporary administrator account on your Mac. Then, log in there to see if you can replicate the issue in Safari and let us know the results. Here's how to Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Cheers!
