Just lost my iPod... how can I access my old iTunes account to retrieve all my songs

Have you been syncing your iPod from your iTunes/Music library? If so, losing the iPod does not affect the library, and you can sync your replacement device as soon as you get one.
If for any reason you need to re-download any past purchases from the iTunes Store, do as follows:
