I found out that my German credit card will not work in Switzerland.

You contact your credit card company and ask them to increase the daily limit.

I used to love iPhone but with this Apple ID I hate it. Can't even update apps. Don't want to buy anything so why do I need a card at all. There used to be a skip button

And as long as you just complain instead of reading the various recommendations and solutions to your problems you will continue to have them. A little effort goes a long way.
