Your payment method was declined

It Looks to me as if Apple wants only Swiss bank accounts. Have tried a German Deutsche Bank creditcard. Wanted to pay online a vacation in EURO from my German bank account. In both cases payment was declined.

Deutsche Bank may go bankrupt but their creditcard is internationaly accepted. To pay online over the border should also work. I have online access to my German account. Why does payment not work? Do I have to falsify my Swiss address? Lock in with a German address???

If you are in Switzerland you can only use the Swiss store, and you can only use a card issued by a Swiss bank with it - having a card issued by a bank in the country is one way of checking that you have a valid billing address in the country.

It doesn't give me the option to pick none??

There have been no purchases since October , and that purchase was already paid for. The debit from my checking shows this.

Purchases are not the only reason a credit card is declined. Follow the instructions in this support article:

Try a different card and see if that's accepted by the iTunes validation
