Your payment method was declined

Im really getting ****** off. I keep getting "Your payment method was declined" when I try to purchase an e-mail voucher for a friend. I have spent 2.5 hours trying to solve this, I know how much my friend would appreciate it else I would tell apple to get fu$%ed since getting help does not seem possible. I have tried 2 different accounts. I just want to buy a freaking voucher or punch an apple employee. Anyone know what is going on?

The card is registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account) ? Do you have a different card that you could try ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country, if they are you might (if not a family organiser) be able to use them as your payment method

It's probably a server issue but as per usual Apple ignores it they ask you to contact them via email and your stuck waiting 48 hours sometimes with no reply at all. This started happening to me it's claiming I had a problem with a subscription auto renew even though it went through weeks earlier. Demand apple's attention on the matter go to the Apple Store if you have to. Even if your not a confrontational person. I had to demand help from Apple support twitter before they even sent me to a email page. The first time was the generic call or your out of luck page . The truth of the matter is Apple doesn't want to do any more than the minimally required in customer service.

Unless you are in a country that does not have online support, you do not have to contact them via email. You can go to: APPLE MAIN SUPPORT PAGE, answer the prompts, and then set up a callback. I have never had to wait 48 hours. If I set it up in the evening, I can usually get a callback by 10:00 the next morning.

That is what the online support, chat support, twitter support are all for - to support customers and their issues.
