My iTunes account is "disabled for security reasons"

I have recently gotten email notices and Apple TV notices indicating security concerns for my iTunes account? How can I check and solve this issue?

Howdy,


First make sure those are not Phishing emails.

Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams

and

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store


Then check out If you think your Apple ID has been compromised
