Samsung SSD T7 "no Samsung portable SSD is Connected"

Hi,

I have bought the new air with m1 and the Samsung t7(without fingerprint reader), I did follow few steps on the other page like formatting and file->go file and running a script, but nothing seemed to help.

Did anyone find a solution for this?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

It sounds like the external drive isn't being recognized by your Mac with the M1 chip.

Try the steps listed here as they may help.
