Setup assistant

Trading in a Macbook Air 2011, After migrating everything then reformatting the drive and reinstalling the OS (High Sierra) the Welcome screen appears, I want to stop right here and shut down. Apple says to quit Command-Q but that does nothing. I want the computer to start up right from the Welcome screen for the next person like a new one out of the box.

How to turn off a Mac at setup screen? Giving away Mac Per Apple instructions, "To leave the Mac in an out-of-box state, press Command-Q to shut down instead of continuing setup." (Source: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support) However the Command-Q is not working. I saw another question about this issue but it just does not work. My Mac is a mid 2010 with High Sierra. Is there any other work around?

Never mind, just moved ahead one step past welcome and was then able to shut down.
