Connect a SATA SSD to Firewire 800 port
Hi guys, I´m wondering how could I connect a external SATA SSD to my MacBook Pro 2011 Firewire 800 Port.
I have been searching for a while but simply I haven`t found any info.

You need to use an enclosure which has a FireWire port on it in addition to a USB port so you can connect it to both types of ports. Depending on the SSD you may be able to remove the actual SSD from the current enclosure and install it into an enclosure with both FireWire and USB ports.
