Disable Camera fully in iPhone XS

Hello,

I'm having a damaged iPhone with a clear damage on the camera. This causes the phone to heat up and ultimately die due to overheating. I need some time before i can have the phone repaired, if possible at all, but meanwhile the phone needs to be used for work.

Can i use the OS to totally disable the camera functionality in the phone?
