Behringer X Touch Big Sur Logic Pro X

Not really a questions BUT I have a Behringer X Touch which was bricked when I bought a new M1 Mac Mini with latest Logic Pro. HOWEVER - there is a new firmware which is apparently supposed to deal with a new AMD chipset for Intel machines. And lo and behold it also fixes the problem between Big Sur / Logic 10.6 and the X Touch.

Look for the software link.

You'll need to use Snoize Sys Ex Librarian to do the firmware upgrade https://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/ but you will need to use a different machine for the upgrade (I suspect that there is something in the Big Sur implementation of USB that is not compatible with the X Touch?)

There's a good video on how to do the upgrade https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4ZKXVXQP8g

Hey! I had the exact same problem. As OP said, there is a problem with SysEx Librarian and Rosetta 2, as I tried to update my X Touch One and it wouldn't work. So I pulled out my old laptop (2010 MacBook Pro), installed SysEx Librarian, and ran the update there. When I went back to my M1 MacBook Air, plugged the X Touch One in, everything worked as normal!

Hi . I updated my X Touch and SysEx directly on my MacMini M1 and everything seems to work perfectly except one thing. When I touch a fader the lcd reacts and works but it will not select the track just by touching the fader as it did before. Before , just by touching faders it selected the track on the x touch and daw also . Now I have to press the select Botton . Not a big issue but slows down the workflow just a little. Hope my English is comprehencible

Hi Guys .

Thanx for your comments.

I updated my X Touch and SysEx directly on my M1 Mac mini and everything seems to work perfectly except 1 thing.

When I touch the faders the lcd reacts and shows you what you working on but without selecting the track. Before when I touched any of the faders it selected the track on the X Touch and on the DAW as well.

Does it happen to you too ?

Thanx
