macbook pro distorted sound

I have tried various fixes for my Macbook pro sound but nothing lasts for more than a few seconds. The sound of my music is fine through headphones or an external speaker but it is very distorted through my Macbook pro internal speakers. Does anyone have a fix for this please?

Thank you but I have already tried that and did everything they said but it didn't last so that is why I tried the communities.
