IPad Lock Screen timeout question (NOT Auto-Lock)

Let me say up front: I have searched endlessly and everything that comes up discusses the auto-lock function for signed-on inactivity. That is NOT what I am interested in...

Is there a way to increase the timeout duration when the Lock Screen is up and notifications are displayed? This time seem to be currently set to about 15 seconds and apparently on-screen activity (like scrolling notifications) doesn’t affect it. For me, this time is too short and the screen blacks out while I’ m scrolling through my notifications. Pressing he power button starts over and the notification list is set back to the top. This is cumbersome for me at times when I do not want to unlock my iPad but do want to screen notifications to make my time more efficient later.

Is there a setting anywhere that I can increase the Lock Screen timeout before it puts the iPad back to sleep AND before I’ve entered password/biometrics to log into the unit???

All help is appreciated!

Cheers,

C
