Can’t update software version

I keep getting a message that an error occurred when verifying the update to iOS v. 14.3 to my IPhone 7.

There is enough space on the phone, it’s connected to WiFi and a power source, I’ve tried restarting the phone, removing the update and doing it over. Tried all of the above countless times. What else can I try?

iPhone 7, iOS 11

You do not need a Mac, you can use a Windows computer. See this, Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Is the error message just saying there is an error? Does it provide more information, is there an error number?
