I keep getting a message that an error occurred when verifying the update to iOS v. 14.3 to my IPhone 7.
There is enough space on the phone, it’s connected to WiFi and a power source, I’ve tried restarting the phone, removing the update and doing it over. Tried all of the above countless times. What else can I try?

I believe the move from iOS 11 to iOS 14 will require a computer. You can borrow on, as long as it has the latest version of iTunes on it. You can also take it to an Apple Store and ask for assistance.

All the support page says is to try the things I listed above and which I have tried loads of times. I was wondering if there is anything else I can try.
I can’t update via computer because I don’t have a Mac.
I couldn’t install iTunes on my work pc so it still doesn’t work. I tried restoring the phone to factory settings but no luck. The message just says there is an error. It’s an old phone with v 11 installed so maybe the gap to 14 is too big. I just need v 12....
Yep, correct diagnosis, the update over several software versions required a computer, a phone shop helped me out.
