iPhone X swollen battery

i have an iPhone 10 with a swollen battery. The battery is swollen so much that it has popped out the screen. Why will Apple not authorize a replacement since it’s obvious the battery is bad. I can still use it, the screen and everything works.

Battery bulging issue iphone x Hi all, i am using iphone x for past 3 and half years, yesterday suddenly the screen started coming out because of battery being bulged. Do apple give free replacement for the battery since it is a h/w issue which should not happen for a premium product like iphone.

iphone 13 swollen battery I got my iPhone 13 five months ago on contract from EE. I noticed yesterday that the screen had lifted slightly and that there was a slight smell coming from the phone, almost like nail polish. I took it into EE today to be sent off to an apple authorised repair service. While in EE they charged me £70 before the phone was even sent off and mentioned I might need to pay more if the screen needs fixing/replacing. The screen worked perfectly fine, there’s no other sign of a swollen battery apart from the lifting and slight smell. I thought this would have all been covered by warranty. Any ideas on where I can go from here?

You need to IMMEDIATELY STOP USING your phone. A swollen battery can be dangerous.

We are not Apple, so we cannot comment on what Apple will or won't do.
