Controller not work

Ok first I will tell you some things you need to know: elite series 2, windows pc, iPhone 12. So lately I have been been playing terraria on my phone with my controller and I flew to my dads house and played fortnite on the pc with my controller and then I wanted to play terraria and my controller connected to my phone and terraria detected the controller but it didn’t work. The buttons, triggers, etc. I turned the controller off by holding the home button, updated it on the pc, switched through the different profiles, I removed it from my phone and reconnected it, tried it with Minecraft and nothing worked. I looked up ways to fix this and couldn’t find anything. I also contacted Microsoft about this.

Greetings CarsonJH,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like the controller is no longer working on the iPhone. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting to solve this issue. Even though there is a chance that you've tried these steps already, we would recommend you follow every step and let us know if the issue persists.

Connect a wireless game controller to your Apple device

"If you still can't pair or connect your Bluetooth accessory

  1. If you previously connected your Bluetooth accessory to your iOS or iPadOS device, unpair the accessory, put it back in discovery mode, then try to pair and connect it again.
  2. If you can pair your accessory with some devices but not your iOS or iPadOS device, unpair the accessory from your other devices. Then try to pair with your iOS or iPadOS device again.
  3. Check with the accessory manufacturer to make sure that your accessory supports your iOS or iPadOS device.
  4. If you still have any of these issues, contact Apple Support
    • You can’t turn on Bluetooth or the setting is grayed out.
    • You can’t connect any Bluetooth accessories with your device.
    • The accessory manufacturer confirmed that your accessory is working correctly."
