Will it stop working... if what has happened exactly? Did you have the screen replaced by a non Apple Authorized technician or service center?


If you had the screen replaced by an unauthorized 3rd party, as long as it was done correctly, it should continue to work. However there may be side effects to doing that. As explained the support document you came from:


The iPhone display is engineered together with iOS software for optimal

performance and quality. A nongenuine display might cause compatibility

or performance issues. For example, an issue might arise after an iOS

software update that contains display updates.


That means after an update which addresses the display directly some issues may arise with non genuine displays. It probably won't entirely kill the iPhone, but it may make it harder to use and cause the issues listed in the support document in some cases.


You may experience a few, some or all of the issues listed or maybe none. No way to be certain until actually happens.
