Mojave Installer not available

Where can you get a copy of Mojave installer

iMac 27″, macOS 10.14

Spoke to Apple support this morning and the problem is a security feature. You can't get Mojave on a machine that it couldn't run on originally so fortunately I had a MacBook Air 2010 version so could get a copy of the Mac OS on that. The original copy I had was too old so would not verify.

Thanks but same problem. Using Latests Catalina with Safari. Link goes to Mac Apps Store that opens up macOS Mojave page.

Click on "Get" goes to Software Update that then gives message "Update not found" " The requested version of max OS is not available"

In your profile in your first post you say you are on macOS 10.14 which is Mojave.

If you are running Mojave then the link will work and download Mojave.

I also find if I am booted to Catalina and try the same link it will open the App Store

link back to Software Update but get the error message you describe.

Don't know why that is, seems pointless.

Well you never told us your mac came preinstalled with Catalina, if you had we would have been able to tell you

that no mac can download or install a macOS older than the one it came preinstalled with.

Your profile list you as having macOS 10.14 which is Mojave.

It helps if you give exact details of your mac, its year and the OS it is running,

after all computers are about communication.

Tried that but Apps store Mojave page link says update not available.

That's why I am stuck note web page says it is dated 11 Dec 2020 so what's the problem.
