Soap inside charger port

So early today I spilled laundry detergent and it got in my MacBook Pro through the charger port. But that’s the only area it got in through. The speakers were untouched by the soap. I tried cleaning the charger port as best as I could. And left it tilted almost all day just to drip out anymore soap. The screen glitched and there was also loud air like sound coming out of it for a little. I’ve connected the charger but it won’t turn on.

Does anyone know if it can still be fixed? Or is it a lost cause?
