Assurant brick anyone else’s phone?

I dropped my 11 Pro cracking the back. I went to my AppleCare + too file a claim for replacement. In the blink of an eye, my phone was bricked and is now apparently the property of Assurant. Now it seems I have no choice but to buy a new phone.

any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hey there rotasha240,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re not able to use your iPhone after contacting Apple Support for service. We’ll be happy to look into this with you.

To verify, what exactly happens when you try to access your iPhone?

Have you contacted Assurant or Apple Support in regards to this? Seeing as this was related to a recent service request, that may be the best option as this could be related to this.

We hope this helps.

Take care.
