Apple pencil 2 - writing on browser does not work

I just bought the new iPad Air and Apple Pencil 2. On the first day using it I could use all pen features like writing on the browser text field with capital letters.

Now I’m only able to click on the browser text field and copy/delete the text similarly like using smart phone but the special features like writing with the pen on the text field or deleting words by drawing a horizontal line on top of the words no longer work. Writing still works with Notes and drawing works fine but the only problem is how it interacts with the browser.

I have restarted the computer but did no help. Any tips?

Try the new hard reset procedure for the 2018/2020 iPad Pro models without a Home button.

1. Press and release the volume UP button.

2. Then immediately press and release the volume DOWN button.

3. Then, press and hold the Power button at the top. You will see the Slide to Power off button, but keep on holding down the Power button until you see the Apple logo, then let it go.

Once you have performed all the steps, wait for a few seconds and your iPad Pro will boot up completely to the iPad Pro’s Lock screen.

Good Luck!
