Virus removal on webpage

I Opened a webpage for an attorney firm to pay my debt and a screen popped up that said i needed to remove viruses. I Clicked on remove virus & webpage opened to empty page- am i now infected?

Did tumgir give me a virus? I ended up on a website called Tumgir that steals posts from Tumblr. It gave me a popup and I clicked something without thinking and ended up with a new calendar in the calendar app from the website. I deleted it, but did I unknowingly download a virus from the website? Please help, I’m worried.

You can't get a virus like that.

It was a scam.
