New MacBook Air M1 video issues

Hello

i have received yesterday my new MacBook Air with serious video issues right out of the box.

Colours looks washed out, with awkward tint and with way too much brightness. I have also detected that the screen shows persistent ghosting after restart.

I was unable to pass from the account creation screen. It got stuck there. Once I restart the machine, I can’t access to OS since the account creation (probably) got corrupted in the process and does not recognize the password.

i have reinstalled macOS Big Sur 11.1 and even during the recovery mode the colours seemed off. The process is the same.

I really believe Apple is doing an amazing effort to bring this technology to the market, but I am a bit concerned now about the reliability of this technology, under the SOC philosophy if you have a problem with one tiny part of the chip -in my case probably the video, this mean that you need to change the entire board to get your machine running again. I was so happy with this M1 that I was considering to upgrade my entire home ecosystem toward the M1, now I am reluctant.
