Face id stopped working and iphone xr is not charging

Today face id stopped working all of a sudden with the message : face id is not available. I tried restarting but it didnt solves thw problem. I noticed that iphone also stopped charging and its not working even after several setting reset and reboot. Now the battery is drained out. Not sure what went wrong.

iPhone X face ID stops working when charging So i just got an iphone x recently and after about a month i started running into my face id would just not work while it was plugged in. So id have to take off the face, restart, then put it on. Now just a restart works luckily. Is it some sort of setting or just a glitch? because it is absolutely only when i try to unlock while charging and will continue to not work until reset. Anything helps, thanks.

Face ID was working without issue but now all of a sudden not working. Any ideas? Face ID on iPhone 13 was working without issue but now not working. Any ideas? Powered phone off and restarted, still not working. Also tried to reset Face ID.

Suddenly Face ID has stopped working Had my iPhone XS Max for 4 months now and suddenly Face ID has stopped working. Tried a soft reset still no joy. Anyone else had this problem. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Those are two different issues.

See this for the Face ID issue. If Face ID isn't working on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

See this for the charging issue. If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

I faced the exact issue with my iPhone XR about 2 weeks ago. Still struggling to get it fixed.
