Here is a getting started video. If you go to the page this video is on you can see other videos.
Settings are an icon right on the Home screen.
Open the App Store app to download Chrome (or any other of the 2 million apps available).
To delete a word double-tap it to select it, the backspace.
It needs to be updated initially by going to the Settings app, tapping General, then Software Update. You can then turn on automatic updates if you want to, and it will update overnight when the phone is plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi.
This is a user-to-user forum; if you have specific questions just ask and it’s likely you will get an answer pretty quickly. Most of the common functions are pretty intuitive. A couple of things you should do early:
Enable Touch ID and Passcode if you didn’t when you set it up
Create an Apple ID, or if you already have one log in by going to the Settings app and tapping the top line
After you have an Apple ID go to Settings, tap on your name at the top, then iCloud. Each switch enables syncing the associated data to iCloud, where it is safe and can be synced to other devices
While there turn on Backup. Then, charge your phone overnight, every night, and it will be backed up automatically during the night.
Add 2 Factor Authentication to your Apple ID if you didn’t when you first set it up, and also add at least one additional trusted phone number (I have 5). That way if the phone is lost or not working you can still access your Apple ID account.
YouTube has a search function. Rather than ask us to search out videos for you, that you may or may not find useful or interesting, perhaps you could make use of the YouTube search functionality.
