i attempted to backup my iphone 6and had to do a series of updates. Plugged the phone into my laptop now the home screen shows plugin to the computer and is stuck there. can anyone help?

stuck on restore screen My iPhone 7 Plus is stuck on the restore screen. I walked away when it was updating to IOS 14.1 on my computer (connected to iTunes) and when I returned my phone was black and the computer was on the iTunes home page. I assumed that the update was complete so I unplugged the phone from the computer and shut down my computer. Then when I tried to open my phone it opened with the restore screen showing.
