The safely of purchasing Apple (or other goods) though “Amazon” is not necessarily a binary answer...

If purchasing from Amazon directly, then yes, it is safe. Amazon is an Apple Authorised Retailer. Items sold by Amazon themselves will be marked as “Sold by Amazon”.

You may need to be more cautious if purchasing from an Amazon Marketplace or third-party reseller - as these resellers are not Amazon, but use the Amazon’s platform.
