Import m4a to iTunes using only iOS, no Mac OS

I’m trying to get .m4a song files I’ve recorded with GarageBand from a turntable with my office MacBook Pro (which isn’t connected to my personal Apple account) onto my iPhone, to play in Music.

I don’t have a paid Apple Music account, and my only personal devices are an iPhone and an iPad (i.e., iOS, nothing Mac OS).

Although the songs play just fine on my office MacBook, transferring them to my iPhone has so far been impossible. The best I’ve been able to do so far is to put the files into Dropbox, and get at them that way with my iPhone. They’ll play when clicked on in Dropbox, but from there I can’t import them - via iOS - into my iPhone’s Music library.

The challenge is that my MacBook is purposely not paired with my personal devices, because it's owned by my employer.

If anyone has a solution to this problem, I’m much obliged.

That’s the problem. I don’t want to sync the computer with the iPhone. The MacBook is a company device, and I don’t want it synced to my personal devices. Essentially, I’m asking how to share recorded m4a files with “someone else’s” device. Or rather, how to play m4a files that I’ve received from “someone else” in Music.
