Why do text boxes have different insets despite being the same numerically?

I have two text boxes on two slides that are the same font, size, line spacing, and inset. Yet one has a larger space at the top than the other. This of course causes a jump in the titles moving from one to another. How do I fix this? Thanks

I've noticed that the text box style on the slides I work on (converted from .ppt) appears to be random. Some have boxes with 4 resizing white dots, one on each side. Other text boxes only have a resizing white box on the sides. On these latter boxes, the box just resizes automatically as you type, which is no good if you have more text for your font than the slide allows. How can get text boxes that have exclusively 4 resizing handles? Alternatively, how can convert the two handled resizing boxes to 4 handled ones?

changing text box position on multiple slides within project Hello, I have 42 slides with a layout like this in a project. I want to change the text box position to the same place on all slides. Is there a way to do this in one stroke as opposed to doing each one individually? thanks!

Have page spacing not affect the page below Is it possible to have each page of a document not affect the one below? So if I have text that extends past the bottom margin of page one it will not push the text of page two down. Kind of like how a Keynote document works. One page does not affect the other
