how can I enable Memoji when screen time is enabled?

My Kids can access Memoji when screen time is on. How an I enable this app?

To clarify, your children cannot access the Memoji feature under their current Screen Time restrictions, is that correct?


If so, do you have any restrictions toggled on for Messages or FaceTime? As the Memoji feature is used in those two apps, restrictions placed there may limit their use.

I am having this issue as well. I obtained two of the new iPhone 12 models for my kids. I use parental controls, but have nothing blocking their FaceTime or messages or camera and yet am unable to use the Memoji features directly as well as the Memoji stickers and most all of the other things on the iMessage’s “app bar”. I need to continue to use the restrictions but would really appreciate a fix allowing them to use the Memoji feature (and other app bar features) as the upgrade for their phones was largely in part due to the Memoji being accessible to them.
