Hi,
I am very sorry to hear this is happening to you!
I don’t own an iPhone 12 (mini or otherwise) but I had a similar issue with my iPhone 7 Plus a few years ago. I had AppleCare and so was able to get the phone replaced, but Apple never did acknowledge any “issues” until months later.
You aren’t alone!
Other iPhone 12 owners have reported similar issues that have been verified by legitimate sources:

The latest info seems to indicate “a software patch is on its way, but further specifics will probably be shared by Apple when this release is ready to go live.” - Softpedia
Others have said to take the phone back and exchange it and everyone agrees that this isn’t normal and shouldn’t be happening.
Some of the links (above) give troubleshooting ideas, but at this point, taking it back and exchanging it for a properly-working iPhone seems to be the general consensus.
It’s a brand new Apple product and it should work, period.
I wish I could be of more help.
Please let us know if you do exchange it or wait for a patch or something else.
Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
Thanks for your answer.
I'll go to Telekom (I bought my phone here.) and swap my phone for a brand new piece. The biggest problem with the phone is the Reduce Loud Sound option, what cannot be turned off.. This is a sh*t function from Apple.. I am adult and I can decide what's good for me..
Hi again mJoey28,
You are very welcome! :)
I am curious about the problems you’ve experienced with Reduce Loud Sound option.
Reduce Loud Sound shouldn’t be permanently on and you should be able to turn it off.
By default (on a new iPhone) Reduce Loud Sound isn’t turned on.
You/The User should always have the option to turn it off.
I agree: it’s the User who gets to decide how they want to use what they’ve paid for, and they shouldn’t be limited, especially when everyone else isn’t limited.
I hope all goes well with Telekom and you get a better device!
Happy-almost-New Year!
kindly,

Nope.
?? I don't need that Apple decide what I want.
Not correct for this price..
