Having trouble with iCloud login verification codes

Merry Christmas to you all

having big trouble with I cloud login on iPhone and iPad and as always it’s just so frustrating with apple!!

after entering ID and password get asked for phone or iPad unlock pass code, put that in and get wizzy wheel for ages, then asks for old pass code put that in and wizzy wheel again then get the verification fail!

tried many times exactly the same!!

googled and had many suggestions tried them all still no good

any ideas?

Seems to be affecting thousands of people, Apple Support’s Twitter @ line is full of people from across the world saying the same thing, and it’s Christmas Day, I doubt anyone will be there to answer.

Apple Support is still available though there may be limited staff on today because of the holiday.

Yes, it’s been happening all day, also on my MacBook so this is most definitely an Apple issue. People on Twitter are also asking Apple support the same question

Hi, I have this exact same issue, I suspect it's an outage, it says the verification process can't be completed
