Usable Storage

Dear Apple Community

I have the iPhone 12 Pro with 128GB of storage. Currently I’m using 58.9GB, so I assume there are 69.1GB available. I’m trying to import some pictures from my Sony A7C camera, a total of 10.88GB of both JPEG and RAW files. However I receive the message that no storage is available, and I need additional 7.2GB. I have cleared all unused apps, removed all deleted pictures and cleared the safari cache. Any ideas what the problem could be?
