Re installing Imovie

I have bought a new mac 27" mac OS catilna. When I migrated contents from my old Mac to the new one, I did get the new version of Imovie as well as some other softwares too. My current problem is that I can't update it as the message says that the existing software is either refunded or purchased using a diff Apple ID. Is it ok if i delete and reinstall it ? Will there be any charge for reinstalling it?
