Wi-Fi in a loop and it won't connect

My Wi-Fi is stuck in a loop and it won't connect. I have tried to forget the network, restart/shut down-on my mac, renew the DHCP lease, etc. It looks like it's in a loop because when hovering over the wifi on the menu bar it is constantly loading and it won't stop. What can I do? When I shut down my mac, the "loop" stops but when trying to connect with the password (it asked for the password even though the network was known - before forgetting the network as a solution option). After writing the -correct- password, it just enters the "loop" once again and the password window pops up again saying the connection failed.

I have a MacBook Pro 13-inch 2018 version. I am using Big Sur version 11.1

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.1
