How long does quick start take for a new ipad?
transfer from iPhone to iPad has been running for about 30 minutes. How long should this take?
That depends on how much stuff it has to transfer and the Wifi network. There is no definitive answer.
But if it does not complete after 30 or 40 minutes then something may be wrong, and you may need to restart it.
I had to try 3 times before the transfer from an iPhone 7 to an 11 Pro completed correctly.
