can't download big sur or connect to app store

I can't update to the new OS. I have Sierra on a late 2015 iMac.

Has this been a problem for anyone else?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.12

Only since you asked ... no, I have not had any issues upgrading my Macs to macOS Big Sur.
