iTunes backup to Music app

I am trying to get music from a backed up iTunes library into the music app on a new MacBook. The files are in the Music folder on the new computer, but they don't appear in the library when I open the Music app. How can I get them to appear when I open the Music app without individually clicking on every song that is in the Music folder.
