Family Sharing
What if I do not wish to share every app I download with my family? I want to be able to share music, movies but not necessarily all.

Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - https://support.apple.com/HT208167 - "Hiding your purchases hides them from all devices that are signed in with the same Apple ID and from the members of your Family Sharing group." Hiding them means they will not show in your available downloads list but they will still appear in your purchase history.
