Why is that the moment I updated the software my speaker volume has gone bad please advise and help as my wife’s phone too has become the same

why is that the moment I updated the software my phone volume has become bad.

I taught it’s my phone but it happened with my wife’s phone too.

also upon checking we found others too have faced similar issues.

my phone is out of warranty and I can’t afford to buy new phone or pay repair charges which are atrocious
